Board of Directors

Old Town Commercial Association (OTCA) Board of Directors are voted into three-year terms each February at OTCA’s Annual Meeting and Member Mixer. Board members commit to participating in several ways including sitting on committees, volunteering at events and raising funds for future programming. Old Town is fortunate enough to have so many dedicated volunteers, but these board members help create a vision and momentum to a better more vibrant Old Town.

The board meets at 5:30 p.m. the second Tuesday of each month.

Old Town Board members are nominated by the membership 10 days before the Annual Meeting which will always be held the first week of February every year. Participating on the Board of Directors is a huge commitment, so we encourage all candidates to participate in Old Town volunteer opportunities through the four committees:

  • Promotions
  • Organization
  • Design
  • Economic Vitality

The Old Town Commercial Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to the revitalization of Lansing’s Old Town through socioeconomic development, historic preservation, business recruitment and community outreach. Rich and vibrant streetscapes provide a gateway to our livable, walkable and family-friendly community.  Residents of Old Town and surrounding neighborhoods are invested and engaged in the success of the Old Town community.

Become an Old Town Donor and help us keep Old Town a vibrant arts and entertainment district.

Your donations will go to the Old Town Commercial Association, a 501c3 nonprofit that focuses on making Old Town a destination. We do that with festivals and events, as well as aesthetic designs, such as hanging flower baskets, holiday decorations and even trash pickup around Old Town.
